Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 litre milk


  • 2 tbsp vinegar


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1/4 tsp haldi


  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder


  • 1/4 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 tbsp chopped onion


  • 1 cups oil for deep frying


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp cumin


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 2 nos onion


  • 5 nos garlic


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 1 nos tomato


  • 3 tbsp chopped onion


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 1/2 tsp haldi


  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnishing


  • 2 nos boiled potatoes


  • 1 pinch sugar

Directions

  • Boil milk in a sauce then add vinegar and let it split. Then drain it in a colander. let it cool down
  • Heat oil for deep frying
  • In a mixing bowl add chhena, salt, red chili powder, haldi, garam masala, chopped onion and chopped coriander leaves. Mix properly. Then make balls. Deep fry them in oil. You will get 15 balls
  • In a blender jar add onion, ginger, garlic, cumin and cinnamon and make a smooth paste
  • Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf and cumin. Let ot crackle
  • Now add onion paste and saute
  • When it is almost dry add chopped tomatoes and also all the dry spices.
  • Let is cook up to oil separates.
  • Now cut potatoes and add to ot and saute. Add water and let it boil and add sugar
  • Cover and cook for 3 to 4 mins
  • Then add fried chhena balls and cook for 5mins covering all the way.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
